Polyanionic cellulose (PAC), referred to as PAC, is a water-soluble cellulose ether derivative made from chemical modification of natural cellulose. It is an important water-soluble cellulose ether and is white or slightly yellow. Powder, non-toxic, odorless, it can be dissolved in water, has good heat resistance, salt resistance, and strong antibacterial properties. The mud fluid formulated with this product has good water loss reduction, inhibition and high temperature resistance. Widely used in oil drilling, especially salt water wells and offshore oil drilling.

VEKEN polyanionic cellulose PAC products are divided into two categories: high viscosity (HV) and low viscosity (LV). In the oil mining industry, PAC is a better drilling mud treatment agent and material for preparing completion fluids, with high pulping rate and good salt resistance. For fresh water slurry, sea water slurry and saturated salt water slurry, PAC is an excellent fluid loss reduction treatment agent, and has good viscosity improvement ability and high temperature resistance (150°C) ability. It is suitable for preparing fresh water, sea water and saturated brine completion fluids, and can be prepared into completion fluids of various densities under the aggravation of calcium chloride, and can make the completion fluid have a certain viscosity and low filter loss.
